Springfield native Kellen Lindstrom has had quite the football journey, from the intense, high-stakes world of the SEC at Tennessee to returning home to Missouri State, ready to make his mark with the Bears.

Lindstrom, a former Glendale standout, describes his transfer experience as fast-paced and chaotic, a stark contrast to the careful planning that went into his initial commitment to Tennessee. Navigating the transfer portal required quick decisions, strong family support, and professional guidance, all while weighing opportunities from programs like Utah, Northwestern, and Penn State.

During his time in the SEC, Lindstrom faced jaw-dropping competition, from Neyland Stadium’s massive atmosphere to battles against powerhouse teams like Ohio State and Florida.
